Student/Resident Poster Contest
You are invited to submit posters on any topic related to anesthesia in dentistry to the NDBA Anesthesiology Dental Student/Resident Poster Contest.
Poster submissions must be a minimum of 1,500 words.
The 1st and 2nd place winners from the U.S. will received free travel and lodging expenses to cover attendance at ADSA's Las Vegas Meetings, where they will present their posters and compete for $2,500 in prizes.

Student/Resident Essay Contest
Matriculated dental students and Post-doctoral/residents from the USA and Canada are invited to submit essays on any topic related to anesthesia in dentistry to the NDBA Student Essay Contest.
Post-doctoral/residents are invited to submit essays on any topic related to anesthesia in dentistry to the Anesthesiology Post-Doctoral Student Essay Contest.
The essays were judged by the following criteria:
1. Applicability to clinical anesthesia
2. Organizational clarity
3. Advancement of the readers knowledge
4. Quality of references
5. Likelihood of independent work product
6. Title reflects the content
The 1st place winner in each contest will receive $1,500, as well as travel and lodging expenses to cover attendance at that year's ADSA Las Vegas Meetings. The 2nd place winner in each contest will receive $1,000, as well as travel and lodging expenses to cover attendance at that year's ADSA Las Vegas Meetings.
Digital manuscripts must be 5,000 words or less.
The author's name, email, snailmail and telephone number should appear on the cover page. The name and address of the entrant's school should appear on the cover page of the manuscript.
